ADMIRE

The objective of this work package is to provide a set of key data tools which advance the power and ease of use of data mining and data integration based on the ADMIRE model and platform.

Existing stable tools will be extended by WP5 to ensure that they benefit from the new architecture and models proposed by WP1 and WP2, and integrate with the enhanced underlying infrastructure provided by WP4. These tools will be evaluated and integrated into the released platform by WP3.

The type of tools fall into two categories: data services and user services. One set of tools concentrates on making the process of data mining, manipulation and integration easier for users to manage and visualise. Another set of tools deals with making service description and workflows more manageable. Finally, an ADMIRE portal will be designed to provide support for applications such as those in WP6.
